Privacy Policy

Omega ("we," "us," "our") is a personal command center web application operated by Preston Wood, a sole proprietor based in Michigan, USA. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Depending on how you use Omega, we may collect:

Account information: your email address and name, collected when you create an account (via Firebase Authentication).
Content you enter: tasks, habits, notes, calendar events, goals, and financial data (accounts, transactions, budgets) that you add to your dashboard. This data is entered by you, about your own life, and is not shared with anyone else.
Billing information: if you subscribe to Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card number — Stripe handles that directly.
Basic technical data: a session token stored in your browser (via localStorage) to keep you signed in.

Demo Mode is different: if you use Omega without creating an account, your data stays entirely in your browser's local storage and is never sent to our servers.

How we use your information

To operate your account and sync your data across your devices.
To process Premium subscription payments (via Stripe).
To send you product updates or promotional emails about Omega, via our email provider, Brevo — you can unsubscribe from these at any time.
To provide customer support if you contact us.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use your financial or personal content for advertising purposes.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate Omega. Each only receives the data it needs to do its job:

Firebase (Google) — authentication (sign-in/sign-up).
Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions.
Brevo — email marketing and contact management (your email and name, and your current plan).
Hostinger — web hosting and database storage.

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you'd like your account and data deleted, email us at support@omegadashboard.org and we'll remove it.

Your rights and choices

Export: Omega has built-in CSV export tools so you can download your own data at any time.
Deletion: contact us to request full account and data deletion.
Marketing emails: unsubscribe via the link in any promotional email, or contact us directly.

Children's privacy

Omega is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access-controlled hosting. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
